I definitely still don't know how to operate this aircraft correctly. I tried to feel my way through it by using the artificial Flight Engineer, but for some reason during the takeoff roll the number one engine failed and feathered. I also haven't figured out the autopilot, so I didn't have the spare capacity to troubleshoot and potentially restart the engine. There was plenty of performance available, so I elected to continue on 3 engines which worked out OK. I decided to make an abbreviated visual circuit to reduce my workload and time in the air. I guess I'll have to read the manuals before my next trip in this aircraft!
