Apologies for the long pause there - I had a couple of things I needed to take care of! I ended up with less fuel than planned as I wanted to fly the full procedural ILSZ to runway 03 and I had to position myself out to MAPED which is 25nm away from the field. Without having RNAV the safest way was to overfly the airfield and then come back after a procedure turn. Although I could see the ground and could have flown a visual circuit, I wanted to practice the instrument flying - it was great fun!
