Is 7 minutes in a 2.5 hour flight considered a long pause?
Just need a reason
Sorry, I don't feel anyone should have to justify a 7 minute pause, and I won't be providing a reason. Pausing and walking away from an offline flight for a short period is not at all unreasonable, a fact acknowledged by the regulations. I've had comments left on my last two flights regarding perfectly reasonable pause durations. While I note that both were ultimately accepted, I've zero desire to face post-flight inquests regarding flights that were VERY comfortably within stated guidelines. You are of course well within your rights to enact and enforce any rules you see fit; it's your VA. Likewise I am free to vote with my feet where those rules are contrary to my sole objective of flying with a VA - having fun.
