Ah… it was a pop… I see. You are right, we don’t allow slewing from gate to runway but there are many reasons where you would use slew after starting a taxi, ie: in a prop, if you misjudge a turn and end up too close to a hanger wall with no way to turn, and no reverse gear… Hence without any way to prove slewing was used in lieu of taxi, we don’t make an issue of it. For the record, the above example was exactly why I used slew,

Careful about the use of Slew. The boss doesn’t like it unless it is about repositioning prior to legitimate aircraft movement.
